In determining the machining process, the command function of the NC machine tool used shall be fully considered, the efficiency of the machine tool shall be fully exerted, and the machining route shall be reasonable, the number of tool passes shall be small, and the machining hours shall be short.


2. Reasonably calculate the coordinate value of tool path path
According to the geometric dimensions of the machined parts and the set programming coordinate system, the motion path of the tool path center is calculated, and all the tool location data are obtained. The general NC system has the functions of linear interpolation and arc interpolation. For contour processing of planar parts (such as parts composed of straight lines and arcs) with simple shapes, it is only necessary to calculate the coordinates of the starting point and end point of geometric elements, the center of an arc (or the radius of an arc), and the intersection point or tangent point of two geometric elements. If the NC system has no tool compensation function, the coordinate value of the motion path of the tool center shall be calculated. For parts with complex shapes (such as parts composed of non-circular curves and surfaces), it is necessary to use straight line segments (or arc segments) to approximate the actual curves or surfaces, and calculate the coordinates of their nodes according to the required machining accuracy.

3. Compile CNC machining program for parts
The tool path data, determined process parameters and auxiliary actions are calculated according to the tool path of the part. Programmers can write the processing program of the part segment by segment according to the functional instructions and program segment format specified by the NC system. Attention shall be paid to: first, the program shall be written in a standardized manner, which shall be easy to express and communicate; Second, on the basis of being fully familiar with the performance and instructions of the NC machine tool used, the skills of using each instruction and the skills of writing program segments.
