What is the difference between machine coordinates and work coordinates?
Machine coordinates are the absolute values of the position of the tool head relative to the machine. Once zeroing is complete, these values will be reset to zero. Work coordinates are used when actually running a CNC machine. All G-codes refer to work coordinates, not machine coordinates.
