What is Q235?
Q235 is a common carbon structural steel material in China, and it is the steel grade specified in the Chinese national standard GB/T 700-2006. Q235 steel has high strength and good plasticity and is widely used in the manufacture of various components and parts.
The chemical composition of Q235 steel mainly includes elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). Its carbon content is low, about 0.22%, and it has good welding performance. At the same time, the silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur content of Q235 steel also has certain requirements to ensure its mechanical properties and processing properties.
The main features of Q235 steel include:
High strength, suitable for some structural parts requiring higher strength;
Good plasticity and plasticity, easy to process and form;
Good welding performance, suitable for various welding processes;
Relatively low cost, it is an economical and practical steel.
Due to its wide applicability and low cost, Q235 steel has been widely used in construction, bridges, rail transit, automobile manufacturing, machinery manufacturing and other fields.
