What is CNC Drilling？

Drilling is a process that uses a multi-point drill to process a cylindrical hole in a workpiece. In CNC drilling, typically a CNC machine feeds a rotating drill perpendicular to the plane of the workpiece surface, resulting in vertically aligned holes with a diameter equal to the diameter of the drill used for the drilling operation. However, corner drilling operations can also be performed by using specialized machine configurations and work-holding arrangements. Operational capabilities for drilling processes include spot facing, countersinking, reaming and tapping.
