What is a CNC machine shop?
Essentially, a CNC machine shop is where CNC machining is actually done. Usually, there may be one or more CNC machine tools in some kind of industrial park. CNC machines are available in 3-axis, 4-axis or 5-axis configurations. A machine shop may contain multiple machines of the same type or a variety of machines. There is no upper limit to the number of machines that can be placed in a machine shop—size and cost are often the key variables affecting the total.
