1、The roller should have sufficient stiffness to ensure that the bending deformation under light load does not exceed the allowable value.
2、The roller surface needs to have sufficient strength, generally above HRC50 degrees, and strong corrosion resistance. The coating has the ability to resist peeling to ensure that the roller surface has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance during operation.
3、The surface of the roller should be carefully processed to ensure the specification accuracy and surface roughness. The surface roughness should be above Ra0.16, and there should be no air holes and air grooves. The thickness of the roll surface should be uniform when working, otherwise the temperature of the roll surface is not uniform and endangers the product quality.
4、The raw material of rolls should have excellent heat transfer performance. Usually, use frozen pig iron. In special cases, use cast steel or molybdenum-chromium carbon steel. Whether heating or cooling, it can be quickly and evenly distributed.
