Commonly referred to as carbide cutting tools, CNC lathes are often used for basic machining operations such as turning and drilling to skillfully and consistently manufacture symmetrical cylindrical parts.
A router is a computer-controlled machine that cuts in three axes, or directions. It runs at high rpm and is designed to cut softer materials such as wood, plastic and foam.
CNC milling machines are great for machining wood, metal, plastic, glass, and many other materials. It uses computer-controlled and rotating multipoint cutting tools to incrementally remove material from workpieces and create custom parts or products.
